Born in Clearwater, Florida, Dan Price is known for dominating the tattoo business. Dan is a professional, mobile black-and-gray tattoo artist. Dan stresses securing his clients’ visions throughout each engagement, unlike some artists who put dollars before relationships.
Dan spent his free time creating hip-hop tracks and sketching from when he was ten to 17. He spent a lot of time doing that, but it was unrelated to his concentration. He once crashed while driving too fast and lost all of his music. He soon began to take his painting more seriously after that. He realized he had another blessing he might use after losing his hard drive. He eventually started an apprenticeship at a nearby shop while still a student. He enrolled in school to acquire the necessary illustration abilities and methods, as well as a practical craft that he could use to advance his career. Early in his apprenticeship, he developed a liking for the arduous work of tattooing.
“My tattoo shop in Wilmington, Delaware, is a special place for me to grow and build a team who gets this concept. I want to make a solid effort to pass on what I know and create something quite timeless while still working within the more “high-end luxurious” part of my career in between. I’m still at The Lab around 4 to 5, sometimes six days a week, and when I’m not there for a few months a year, I’m taking care of clients in Miami, Vegas, New York, LA, Bahamas, Sweden, Colombia, etc. The balance I have created with my hustle has been very peaceful, but it wasn’t always like this and still holds its ups and downs. I look at it positively, though. I never thought I’d be here, let alone fathom it could get this deep, so I’m very thankful!” Make sure to follow Dan Price on Instagram here.
