Grace in Love, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded by Amy Lisek in 2020 with the sole goal of providing hope and encouragement to individuals navigating through life’s hardest moments. Concerns over mental health are at an all-time high, especially after millions of lives were disrupted by a global pandemic, and now Grace in Love, Inc. emerges in order to help people recover.
The organization’s core initiatives include providing free, uplifting care packages to those going through mental health battles, physical illnesses, or simply difficult life transitions. These care packages, often filled with prayer cards, inspirational messages, devotional books, and small gifts offer a tangible reminder to that person that they are loved, valued, and not alone in their journey. To date, Grace in Love, Inc. has sent hundreds of these packages across the country to individuals that have submitted requests at graceinlove.org.
In addition to the care packages, Grace in Love, Inc. also offers a unique online platform designed to inspire, connect, and equip individuals. On this platform, users can submit prayer requests, share uplifting blogs, or access a variety of resources meant to support those going through tough times. Whether someone is struggling with mental health, grief, illness, or any other life challenge, Grace in Love, Inc. provides a community where hope can be found and shared freely.
Fundraising for Hope: How You Can Make a Difference
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Grace in Love, Inc. relies on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and partners to fund the continuation of their operations across the country, as well as their eventual expansion. Your donation can help their growing nonprofit create and deliver more care packages along with helping advance their overall mission of spreading hope and encouragement to people that need it most. Every dollar contributed helps to spread love and hope to someone who may be struggling to hold onto it.
Throughout the year, Grace in Love, Inc. holds several fundraising events, such as in-store fundraising partnerships, where a percentage of proceeds go directly toward supporting their mission. Many of these events have their own themes, one of the biggest opportunities for support being during the “Giving Season,” which culminates with Giving Tuesday. This is a critical time for the nonprofit, as it provides them with the resources needed to ensure they can continue to fulfill their mission of delivering hope to the hopeless.
Why Fundraising Matters
When our culture drives us to become ever more atomized and closed off within ourselves, fundraising and other initiatives that rely on random acts of kindness from strangers becomes our greatest beacon of hope.
The benefit of participating in such initiatives lies less in the donation of money, but in taking the time to consider those people who, despite being strangers to you, are struggling and in need of help. What you are actually donating, therefore, is the strength to continue even if caught in difficult times. Every contribution goes toward the mission of spreading hope, and with the funds raised, the nonprofit is able to create more care packages, extend their online community, and offer more resources for mental health support.
As Amy Lisek, the founder of Grace in Love, Inc., continues to grow the organization, one of her goals is to launch an online course and life coaching services aimed at providing individuals with the tools they need for transformation. These initiatives would further expand the nonprofit’s ability to equip people with the resources to build a brighter future.
