In an era dominated by hustle culture, Akbar Sheikh has found a different formula for success—one that starts with faith and ends with fulfillment.
The entrepreneur and founder of Make More Give More believes that business, when guided by divine purpose, can change the world.
From Rock Bottom to Redemption
Sheikh’s journey is proof that faith can flourish even in the darkest moments. “I lived in an electrical closet with no hot water, no shower—nothing,” he recalls. “But even then, I knew there was a bigger plan.”
That belief carried him from homelessness to seven figures—and a mission to help others rise.
Purpose as the Ultimate Profit
“Our mission is simple,” he says. “We help entrepreneurs make more to give more—to their families, their communities, and their favorite charities. That’s how we make the world better.”
For Sheikh, faith isn’t separate from business—it’s the foundation of it.
Balance by Design
Despite his success, Sheikh prioritizes balance. “Even when I had nothing, I never worked 40 hours a week,” he explains. “It’s always God first, family second, business third.”
He believes that when those priorities are aligned, burnout disappears—and true success begins.
Living to Give
Sheikh’s inspiration to keep building came from Michelle, a client who used his methods to help nonverbal autistic children speak. “I realized I can’t retire,” he says. “My purpose is to create more stories like that.”
