For a long time, I was successful — but I wasn’t aligned. I had spent years helping brands refine their voice, yet my own story felt distant. That realization was uncomfortable, but necessary.
Rebuilding didn’t mean starting over. It meant coming back to myself.

Before corporate life, I ran a nonprofit and business in Spain. Baasgalgo, the galgo rescue I founded, taught me more about branding than any job title ever could. I led the storytelling, partnerships, and outreach — and watched how honesty created movement.
That chapter gave me authority rooted in real life, not theory.
A Global Lens on Identity
Being Dutch and living across Spain, Italy, and the Mediterranean shaped how I see identity. Personal brands, like people, are layered. You can’t reduce them to one message without losing the truth.
That global lens helps me guide clients through complexity without oversimplifying who they are.

Leaving luxury retail was the moment I chose alignment over comfort. Baas Studio grew from that decision — not as an agency, but as a consultancy where the work stays personal.

I help people find the heart of their story and translate it into honest messaging. I look for gaps between intention and expression — and help bring everything back into alignment.

The Direction Forward
Right now, I’m focused on building a consultancy that stays human. I want to work closely with soulful founders, boutique hotels, wellness leaders, and purpose-driven brands who want meaningful growth.
I’m also developing tools and content to support people through reinvention. This next chapter is about expanding impact while protecting what matters most — clarity, connection, and work that feels true.
